

Kids & Family Yoga

Kids & Family Yoga is a joyful way to connect, move, and play together. This class introduces kids to the magical benefits of yoga in a playful and fun-filled environment. We’ll learn poses (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation in age and developmentally appropriate ways to instill the life long benefits of a yoga practice.
In addition to increasing strength, flexibility, and agility, kids will also improve their gross + fine motor skills and coordination. Kid's & Family Yoga aids a healthy central nervous system, allowing for more relaxation and better sleep. This class is wonderful for children with Autism and other special needs because it teaches coping skills for stress, worry, anxiety, and depression. Kid's Yoga is supportive and encouraging, helping promote positive behavior, communication skills, cooperation and creativity.

This class is designed to introduce children (ages 2–6) and their families to yoga as a fun, supportive, and a practice they can return to again and again.
